Adam Lyon is sent to the all-animal Charles Darwin Middle School after a typo changed `Lyon' to `Lion' on his registration. He quickly befriends gym partner Jake Spidermonkey and they team up to make it through middle school together.

After losing the part of Tarzan in the school play to Jake, Adam challenges his best buddy to a Tarzan-off to see who really would make the best King of the Jungle. Adam fails his stalking class when his stomach gurgles, throwing off his predator.

Bad News Bear / Lyon of Scrimmage
Jake and Adam are punished for breaking the school's fish tube; Adam becomes the new quarterback for the football team.

Animal Testing / Inoculation Day
Adam goes ape when he is accidentally inoculated with Monkey Booster, turning into an actual crazed, pants-less monkey.
EPISODE 4
It's the Scary Old Custodian, Adam Lyon / My Science Project
When Jake accidentally destroys Adam's project for the school Science Fair, he has a robot arm implanted in his skull to make up for it. Soon, Jake and Adam realise the robot arm has a mind of its own.

The Sheds / Shiny Thing
In `The Sheds', panic breaks out in school when Slips believes he has a contagious disease. In `Shiny Thing', Jake's shiny ball hypnotises everyone into doing his bidding.

Chew On This / The "A" Word
In `Chew on This', Adam's complaint about the school canteen leads to all the food being replaced. In `The `A' Word', Adam tries to make peace with Jake when he accidentally insults him.
