After spending six months recovering from a motorcycle accident, university student Natsusa must restart his freshman year and learns his injuries are too severe for him to go back to playing his favourite sport, rugby.

Natsusa is worried about the upcoming finals against the strongest team in their region, Koufuuin. To try and gain an upper hand, Natsusa goes to drag Ibuki back into the game.

Natsusa tries to smooth over the tension of Ibuki's return to the rugby club with an intra-club match to test his skills.

Natsusa and Yasunari start rooming together and get off to a bad start; the team plays against Isui, where the rugby team's undergone many changes.

Yasunari is defeated by Ryuusei and is in danger of being taken out of the starting line-up. His stress goes over his breaking point and now Natsusa is the only one who can help him.

A neck injury forces Natsusa to stay in bed and Yuu struggles to fill his role, but he can't do as much as he'd hoped. The starting line-up is announced and the team prepare for their match.
