Redefined: J.R. Smith

Arriving on campus, JR is warmly welcomed by his fellow students at North Carolina A&T. Everyone is thrilled to have the NBA champion on campus.

JR receives the freshman treatment as he goes from being a professional basketball player to a new student on the North Carolina State Agricultural and Technical University golf team.

While JR studies at an HBCU with a long history of social justice, he becomes an advocate for A&T's golf team and prepares for his long-awaited college golf debut.

After a few bad tournaments, tensions rise within the team, leading to a closed-door meeting. Despite this, JR and his teammates celebrate. JR is reunited with his family and reflects on the past year.
