Liverpool DI Colette Cunningham moves to Dublin when she learns her estranged daughter has committed suicide. Unaware of their existence, Colette meets her two teenage grandchildren. Colette sets out to uncover the truth about her daughter’s death.

Colette pieces together a picture of Stacey’s life, but something doesn’t quite add up about her daughter’s final days. At home, Colette’s grandparenting skills are tested as she adjusts to living with Liam and Cara.
