When magical princess Star Butterfly proves she is not ready to accept the royal magic wand, her parents send Star to Earth to live with the Diaz family, in hopes she will gain maturity.

Marco attempts to cheer Star up, with disastrous results. Star and Marco try to get a wand charger without the help of magic.

Star and Marco must save the Diaz family from a many-headed serpent. Star must fight off Ludo and his army of monsters.

Star enters the Mewni version of puberty and suddenly sprouts hearts all over her body and becomes boy-crazy. Marco and his friends work off their debt in the Shard Mines.
