The Architect

The wedding night of Shen Chang Ning (Liu Nian), the daughter of a shipping mogul, turns to tragedy when she and her family are brutally slaughtered. Despite being left to die in a river, Chang Ning finds herself miraculously reborn, becoming a dancer named Xi Yan in the mansion of Governor Pei Yu (Yu Xuan Chen). Determined to take advantage of her second chance at life, Chang Ning plans to use her new proximity to Pei Yu and his investigative power to figure out what happened to her family. What Chang Ning doesn't know, however, is that Pei Yu knows exactly who she is – and he's vowed to protect her from the perils of political schemes. Can Chang Ning successfully bring her family's killers to justice, and what will become of her relationship to Pei Yu?
