The First Team

New player Mattie Sullivan arrives at the club but a meeting with eccentric chairman Mark Crane has him wondering if he's been signed by mistake. Even worse, club hard-man Petey Brooks seems to dislike him.

Mattie befriends the team's star player Carlos Velez; Jack plucks up the courage to date a girl he met online; Benji is approached by a mysterious Malaysian businessman.

The team get a presentation on the rules of sexual conduct and consent. Mattie, Benji, and Jack are determined to keep out of trouble, but a chance meeting leads to an unfortunate misunderstanding.

Petey hosts a barbecue while the rest of the team are away on international duties. Mattie, Benji, and Jack are the only guests as the strange afternoon unfolds.

The chairman announces a new caretaker manager. After a poor start, the team must attend a pub night as an apology to the fans. Benji employs a social media manager.
