A small science team remains isolated during winter at an Antarctic research station to continue their research in the fight against climate change. With the spring, the entire team are either dead or missing.

Johan questions Maggie about the events that unfolded following the discovery of Miles' body; tension between Nils and Ramón heightens.

Arthur accuses Maggie of murdering the whole team. He is convinced that the young woman is a spy, paid to recover the results of the research of Polaris VI.

Maggie continues her recount of the events that happened on board, and reveals that she was shot in the stomach, forcing Arthur to win Polaris V to retrieve a radio and call for help.

Maggie continues to sift through her memories, plunging Johan into endless questions. She wonders what really happened aboard Polaris VI, and if Annika is still alive.

Maggie ends up confessing to Johan what Annika told her about the drama that played out during the party organised at Polaris V for the arrival of summer; Arthur continues to deny the facts.
