The Passage

Federal agent Brad Wolgast must bring in a test subject, a 10-year-old girl, to a secret medical facility. She may be the key to the imminent flu epidemic threatening the country.

On the run, Amy and a wounded Brad take refuge with Brad's ex-military instructor; the epidemic in China spreads.

Brad stays with Amy at Project NOAH to test the virus. He learns some harsh truths about the state of the inmates in 4B.

Wolgast convinces Sykes and Lear to let him and Amy go outside the facility for exercise; Fanning's hold on those inside Project NOAH grows stronger.

Brad and Amy come up with an escape plan with the help of an unexpected accomplice; Sykes and Richards start to question each other's motives.

Guilder and Richards race against time to mobilise a search party, while Amy volunteers to help, causing friction with Brad.
