Eleven strangers travel to Marrakech, Morocco, where they explore its winding streets, crowded markets and food stalls; the travellers strip down in a traditional Moroccan bathhouse; wealthy playboy Jared sets his sights on twin sisters.

The travellers ride camels in Morocco, then they go on safari in Kenya's Maasai Mara National Reserve; Amy falls ill and must stay behind in the Atlas Mountains; Misty pines over Jared who grows closer to her twin sister, Jenna.

Jenna, Jared and a few others trek through the jungles of Rwanda for a once-in-a-lifetime encounter with mountain gorillas; Misty and the others become immersed in Maasai culture, drinking cow's blood and building houses out of manure.

The adventurers go scuba diving in the Maldives; Jared finally chooses between Jenna and Misty; Amy and Heather confront each other; after 16 years of marriage, Jeff and Jetta renew their vows on the beach.

In Colombo, Sri Lanka, Michelle blows up at Brandon on a crowded public bus; Amy takes the opportunity for a sit down with former best friend Heather; Jenna realises she doesn't like being a third wheel.

The travellers head south to Galle, Sri Lanka; Michael and Steven have a fish-out-of-water experience while celebrating Michael's birthday with a Sri Lankan family; Jared refuses to go to a local tea plantation.
