Will's controversial new play goes missing as he prepares to present it to Queen Elizabeth. Marlowe becomes a prime suspect, and Will sets out to recover his masterpiece.

The Apparel Proclaims The Man
Will is invited to Lord Southampton's party and as a result, hopes to move up in the world. But when his rival Sir Robert Greene gives him fashion advice, he could be setting himself up to fail.
EPISODE 4
Love Is Not Love
With his final sonnet completed, Will senses the approach of literary immortality, but the question remains as to whether the fair youth and dark lady will like them.
EPISODE 5
What Bloody Man Is That?
When the plague strikes, Will and his friends escape the family home and meet three witches along the way. They share their predictions about Will's future, and cause a series case of house envy.
EPISODE 6
The Quality Of Mercy
Will makes an interesting bargain with a rival, after his savings go missing. Kate becomes fed up with the lack of opportunities for women, which leads to some drastic action.
