Returning from a battle in the Baltic lands, Ragnar Lothbrok dreams of power. Ragnar's brother Rollo's plans are rebuked by Earl Haraldson, who continues to order raids.

Wrath of the Northmen
Ragnar gathers volunteers for an unauthorised raid to the west. Lagertha gets violent when Ragnar refuses to take her along. At sea, the crew get caught in a storm.

Dispossessed
Ragnar and his group raid a monastery in Lindesfarne. Earl Haraldson plans another raid on England. Ragnar meets with King Aelle.

Trial
Tensions build between Lagertha and Knut, a battle ensues. With Ragnar in his custody, Earl schemes.

Raid
A seer predicts Earl Haraldson's future and they see Ragnar searching for his death. Haraldson intends to take precautionary measures to protect himself.

Burial of the Dead
With Rollo in danger, Ragnar must face Earl head-on. Earl has ordered for Rollo to be tortured. Lagertha recieves some good news.
