We have the story of a mother of two, Samantha, who suffered years of back trouble due to her large breasts who, upon undergoing a reduction from a J-Cup to a more comfortable C-cup, ended up in agonising pain and her nipple position far higher than she ever could have conceived. David suffered hair loss from his twenties and it took him a staggering 7 operations and to get to a place where he was finally happy. He opens up about the physical and emotional scars he suffered including the breakdown of his marriage. Another first-hand tale tells the dangers of so-called 'Botox Parties' as a Leicestershire woman's lips swelled up so much after a filler injection hit an artery that her lips could touch her nose. Rachel Knappier now campaigns for safety in cosmetic surgery hoping to warn young girls of the dangers of the unregulated world of aesthetics. The couple were left horrified as the ship listed at sea, with water leaking into their cabin and chaos all round.Amy Stone relives the horror of her trip to a 5 Star dive resort in Indonesia. The trip of a lifetime almost killed her after she suffered severe decompression sickness which left her with life-changing spinal damage, no feeling below the waist and barely able to walk. Plus, we hear from Iain & Judie Cook whose luxury dream trip to Vegas turned into deadly nightmare. They’d gone to the city of lights to get hitched and celebrate their honeymoon only to get caught up in the now infamous shootings that saw 58 people killed and 851 others injured. They share their own personal journey and footage from that fateful trip on the programme. For health reasons, he decided to have a gastric band fitted and lost a staggering 30 stone. The trouble is, now, he’s left with 3 stone of excess skin which he cannot get removed on the NHS. Even after his weight loss transformation, Paul says he is ashamed to look at himself in the mirror. Writer Eve opens up about the pressures of working in the fashion industry surrounded by “perfect” bodies. Her story involves her taking on-board so-called fad diets via social media. Influenced by online wellness stars peddling questionable nutrition advice, Eve culled her favourite foods such as bread, milk and meat and got so poorly she feared she would suffer a sudden heart attack. Plus, there’s the tragic tale of Eloise Parry, well-documented in the press back in 2018, as she had been addicted to toxic slimming pills containing dinitrophenol (DNP). We have an exclusive interview with her sister Becky who opens up about her late sister’s obsession with her diet. Brother and sister, Alan Taylor and Annie Barber were expecting the trip of a lifetime when they booked to go on a cruise along the Panama Canal. They reveal how it was anything but that as the ship underwent a major rehaul while they sailed. While Shiyun Huang and her partner Christopher tell us how the resort they’d booked in Corfu turned out to be nothing like in the brochure, as they were confronted with dirty rooms, an infestation and a giant rubbish dump. Plus, the McCullock family recall the horror of being on holiday in Turkey when Thomas Cook went bust. Demands of money from the hotel and threats of being kicked out of their room left them fearing they’d be stuck abroad with nowhere to stay.
