Zapped

Office worker Brian stumbles upon a magical amulet, which takes him to another world. But the amulet is sold before he gets a chance to reverse the spell.

Howell devises a potion that Brian could use to help him regain the amulet. However, Steg wants to use the potion to charm a Demi-Fin, and Barbara wants to gain entry to the Seers' guild.

A fire sprite grants Brian a wish, leading him to think he might finally get home. But Brian has second thoughts after meeting Effandra, who he quickly falls for.

Brian has been thrown into prison for inadvertently starting the snail wars. Steg convinces him that his best option is to opt for trial by combat, against a warrior named Radnok.

Brian takes a series of lessons in magic from Howell, so he can defend himself. Meanwhile, Steg finds out that he is a father, and Barbara loses her sole soothsaying client.

Brian is pleased to find that he is popular with the locals at a trendy bar. But he begins to wonder if they are being honest with him. Barbara meets up with an old friend.
