Anna confesses to killing her husband, Manuel; but on hearing he may still be alive and that her son is in danger, she escapes custody.

Anna is determined to find her son and bring him home, but she can't expect any support from her own mother.

Still trapped in the courthouse, Anna becomes increasingly overwhelmed by flashbacks, and disaster is closing in.
