Sam gets back to teaching and raising her kids as she carries on a secret affair with Raphael Manzareck. But when Xavier returns to teach an experimental class, she starts to lose her balance. The worrisome results from her mammogram only make things worse.

Running into Xavier every day at school troubles Sam more than she'd like to admit. He, however, has truly moved on, and already has his sights set on the beautiful school superintendent Samia.
