Hanasaki Mai Speaks Out

Mai Hanasaki, an employee at Tokyo Dai-ichi Bank, is ordered to transfer to the Branch Inspection Unit within the Branch Supervision Department. She is disheartened to learn that the job entails duties that are detested by other bank employees.

Mai and Souma investigate a confidential info leak at Akasaka branch, where coffee chain Shiraishi's expansion plan was exposed. They trace the leak while navigating the fallout of a cutthroat twilight seminar for older bank staff.

Mai and Souma assist at the Kamata branch. Excited to return to teller work, Mai arrives only to meet branch manager Suga, who reveals clear hostility toward Mai and Souma. Soon, Mai falls into a trap set by Suga and makes a major mistake.
