Midthunder then enjoyed minor roles in "Spare Parts" (2015), the true story of a Latino high school's attempts to win a robotics competition, small desert town tale "Bare" (2015) and the four-time Academy Award nominee "Hell or High Water" (2016), and guested as werewolf Kayla on supernatural spin-off "The Originals" (The CW, 2013-) and as Starlet on Jerusalem-based conspiracy drama "Dig" (USA Network, 2015). After landing the role of human trafficking victim Maria in faith-based drama "Priceless" (2016), Midthunder was cast as savant Kerry Loudermilk in "Legion" (FX, 2017-).
