Myeonghui puts off her response to Huitae's confession and turns in a resignation paper to the hospital; Suryeon receives a strange call and heads to her friend's house who has been on the wanted list.

Myeonghui recollects Suryeon's family affair and asks Huitae to engage Suryeon; Hyuncheol visits Myeonghui but soon he spots the declaration and tears it to pieces.
