S1, E1: In Episode One of Dream Home, Dr. Chris Brown welcomes six couples to the competition where homeowners have their ordinary, run down houses completely transformed by other couples into the home of their dreams. We begin the house overhauls in Melbourne for 90’s boy band sensation Brad and his wife Mel in Northcote and Elle and her renovation expert sister Taeler in Watsonia. It’s a rollercoaster of excitement, laughter and pressure as the houses begin to morph into astonishing new homes. Our couples meet our esteemed expert judges Lana Taylor, Rosie Morley and Simon Cohen who will score the rooms to award the winner an additional one hundred thousand dollars to put toward their mortgage. It is a life changing and emotional journey for the couples who create the breath-taking homes.
