Boogie Nights

Yu Bin (Choi Gwi Hwa) is a man who has learned that North Korea is about to launch a nuclear attack that will wipe South Korea off the map. The explosion will take place the next day, so he decides to spend the last night of his life enjoying himself to the fullest. He and his male friends decide to head out to bars and nightclubs to drink, dance – and meet women. He has never really had a girlfriend and wants to experience passion with a woman before he dies. But, quite unexpectedly, he ends up entangled in a strange web of coincidences that leads to him interacting with not one but five different women. First, there’s Yeon Ju (Lee Si Won), a woman he meets in a bar. Then there’s the glamorous Kyung Ah (Kim Hee Jung), whom he meets at a club. A figure from his past – a woman named Soo Kyung (Park Hwan Hee) – also emerges. She just happens to be his first (unrequited) love. A female acquaintance who is actually in love with him named Yu Ra (Jang Hye Won) also hopes to reach out to Yu Bin tonight. And completing the quintet is the mysterious Madame (Baek Joo Hee), a woman who says she wants to escape abroad with him! How will Yu Bin’s “last night on earth” end? “Boogie Nights” is a 2022 South Korean movie that was directed by Kang Kyung Yeop.
