In the midst of a housing crisis, tenants of a Montreal seniors' residence (RPA) are fighting tooth and nail to keep their homes. On January 31, 2022, the seniors of Mont-Carmel Residence received an eviction notice announcing the closure of their RPA. But they refuse to yield. They decide to unite against the new owner, a real estate developer nicknamed the "king of renovictions". The journalist Noémi Mercier takes us behind the scenes of their resistance.
