Fred

Fred (Vincent Lindon) is a crane operator who becomes unemployed after his factory closes. His responsibilities in the suburban home he shares with his girlfriend, Lisa (Clotilde Courau), are not enough to stave off his feelings of boredom and disappointment. When Fred happily agrees to drive a truck to a warehouse as a favor to his friend Michel (Stéphane Jobert), he steps into a trap. Framed for a crime, Fred must prove his innocence to the police while evading shady criminals.
