Young, smart, sassy and beautiful. By day 14-year-old Natalie Sorenson listens to the latest songs on her iphone and shares a basket of fries with her best friend Cherry, by night she ties her pink bandana to the side mirrors of 18-wheel trucks and earns top dollar for her charming and manipulative boyfriend-pimp Ryan Dawes. Honey Bee is a tough drama about survival that follows an unlikely teenaged truck stop sex worker who is pulled from the confines of her boyfriend’s prostitution ring and forced into foster care in remote Northern Ontario while police search for her dangerous pimp.
