The people of Israel remain under Roman domination. A small group of men begins to preach the soon coming of the Kingdom. Their leader, Jesus of Nazareth, inspires hope in hearts. This film narrates the 3 years of preaching of Jesus seen from the perspective of his apostles, witnessing both the tensions that arise between them and the joys of the group.
