Haibara, who came for an interview with Imperial Financial, is suddenly taken to a pressure-filled debt-collecting work instead. Despite being taken aback by its severity, Haibara starts working diligently as a finance professional. His first assignment is a loan request of 3 million yen from Kenichi Takahashi (Hidetoshi Kawaya), who runs a construction company. Believing that government employees like Takahashi's daughter Masako (Saori) would be easier to collect money from due to retirement benefits, Kanabatake decides to approve the loan. Haibara and Kuwata promptly head to Takahashi's place and convince him to make his daughter a joint guarantor using persuasive language. However, when the repayment starts to stall, Haibara and Kuwata target Masako. They tail her and identify the hiding place of the Takahashi family. Finally, Haibara's first debt-collecting begins.
