After quitting his job, stuck aimlessly in a dull stay-at-home routine, young and unemployed Gil-gu (Ahn Bo-hyun) falls head over heels for Sun-ji (Lim Yoon-A), the charming new neighbor who just moved in downstairs. Later that night, he runs into Sun-ji again in the elevator. Only this time, her appearance is uncanny and out of character. Shocked and confused by the stark contrast between the sweet Sun-ji by day and the terrifying alter ego at night, Gil-gu becomes both curious and frightened. Half-curious and half-terrified, Gil-gu starts hovering around her, only to eventually learn the family's bizarre secret from her father, Jang-su (Sung Dong-il): By day, Sun-ji is gentle and ordinary but come deep night, a devil awakens inside her, transforming her into someone entirely different. Jang-su offers Gil-gu a bizarre job of watching over Sun-ji during those cursed late hours. Will Gil-gu survive these unusual night shifts and escape the curse of the devil inside Sun-ji?
