What! No Beer?

Pratfalls and physical comedy abound as legendary funnymen Buster Keaton and Jimmy Durante team up in the hilarious story of a barber who tries to get into the liquor business after Prohibition ends. Needing money to woo his secret unrequited love, Elmer Butts (Keaton) takes his friend Jimmy Potts's (Durante) advice to open a brewery just before alcohol becomes legal again. Although the police stage a raid, the partners' inept brewing skills have resulted in a beer with no alcohol in it, so they go free. But they soon get embroiled in a war between two competing bootleggers--one of whom is dating Elmer's dream girl.
