Martha MacIsaac is a Canadian actress. She has appeared in several feature films, including Superbad, The Last House on the Left, Dead Before Dawn, and, most recently, Battle of the Sexes. She has also worked in television and as a voice actress.

Casey is trying to think about her future but can't get Cappie to talk about their relationship post-graduation. Rusty tries to deal with his new-found popularity while making progress with his project that won him the grant. Hastings gets him an assistant who happens to be Dana, the girl he turned down at the Nerd Auction, which causes some extra tension in the lab. The girls are desperate for a new hasher and Dale unexpectedly shows up to save the day. He is trying to fund his project on his own so accepts the job. All is well until he hears that the last hasher had a relationship with Ashleigh that Dale doesn't think should be part of the job requirement.

Katherine offers Casey the Vice President of Judicial Affairs position and gives her the task of investigating the fire that burnt down the Gamma house. Casey can't handle the guilt so confesses to Natalie. Natalie blackmails her in exchange for ZBZ's house, so Casey finds evidence that Natalie rigged Songfest by sleeping with a judge. Casey exposes her own guilt and Natalie's deception to Katherine. Winning the grant has been great for Rusty's popularity, but the sorority girls he wants aren't fazed by his success. Evan and Cappie's tumultuous relationship comes to a head at the Amphora society where they are both expelled.

Although the CRU campus is busy with Mardi Gras celebrations, Casey tries her hardest to focus on the LSAT exam she has to take before she can start celebrating. Once it’s over she walks out to find Joel waiting for her. They two share a moment before Casey explains she has a boyfriend. Joel asks why she spent the night celebrating with him, and she wonders the same thing. Rusty invites Katherine to the Mardi Gras party and she reveals she has plans to lose her virginity to him that night. Evan agrees to bartend at Gentleman’s Choice to make some money - Calvin is there trying to be a little more relaxed in a gay environment. Laura is nominated to be sober sister for the night and pushes the responsibility on Dale who is annoyed until Laura makes a move on him at the party in secret.

Cross Examined Life

Rusty, Dale and Dana are hanging out together and Dana suggests throwing a murder mystery dinner party to help Dale socialize. The Omegas then storm in and take Dale away as he‘s pledged to them. Casey gets a surprise visit from Ashleigh, who has lost her job in New York. Calvin reveals that he has no major, just like Cappie, but wants to keep it a secret. Rusty worries that Dale is joining Omega to get back at him, so he devises a plan to get Dale into Kappa. But Dale is insulted by Rusty‘s insistence, and goes to the Omega hazing. Rusty and his friends kidnap Dale and take him to Dana‘s murder mystery party, leaving Spidey there to face the Omegas‘ wrath. Dale leaves Rusty‘s party, claiming that he wants to be an Omega. Casey is having a hard time finding a study group to join in her new law class. Katherine returns to attend CRU Law school.

Beaver goes to class to find he got an F on his paper due to plagiarism. Casey tries to get Katherine to form a study group with her. Beaver is smitten with Katherine. Rusty and Dana are working on a science project together, but when Dana requests to be called a co-inventor on the credits page, Rusty's anger ruins the presentation. The committee likes the invention, but pull Rusty from the project and gives it to professionals. Rebecca invites Cappie to the pledge party so she can make Evan jealous. Beaver wakes up in bed with Katherine. Rusty and Dana break up.

There’s tension between Cappie and Casey, and to make matters worse Cappie’s parents show up for a visit. They suggest a camping trip which Casey agrees to once she hears his mom, April, wants a chance to talk to him about his future. Rusty feels like he blew his chance with Katherine when he wouldn’t have sex with her but Ashleigh reminds him that he's now free to date Dana. Calvin helps Evan sneak into ZBZ while Rebecca is away to steal back the necklace Evan gave her for Valentine’s Day. While in her room he wonders if she still has feelings for him. Calvin tries to get him to move on so Evan starts talking to Katherine at the party, but Rusty gets jealous because he thinks she’s the girl he wants.
