Between the Lines

The expedition is on! Max Kausch and the crew get on the road, crossing the border between Brazil and Argentina. Things get off to a very rough start for the team and Max personally.

Max and the crew start to climb Antofalla in Argentina, the first 6k+ peak of the expedition. Max prepares his motorbike to approach the climb.

While in the middle of nowhere Max finds himself in a serious predicament as the expedition moves to Colorados and Vallecitos, two very remote peaks in La Brea, Argentina.

It’s time to approach Cerro El Cóndor near the town of Fiambala in Argentina. Climbing down the mountain proves to be even harder on the team as they struggle with navigation.

The expedition arrives at one of the biggest challenges, Cerro La Mesa. When harsh conditions hit the team they are forced to go without some of their most basic needs.

After more than 55 days of expedition, Max and the team face Marmolejo in Chile. Sheer exhaustion starts to bring some of the team to a breaking point.
