Appropriate Adult

The routine life of Gloucester woman Janet Leach is dramatically transformed when she asked by police to sit in as ‘appropriate adult’ on interviews with a killer they have arrested.

Janet is no longer involved in the police interviews, but she is asked to resume as Fred West’s appropriate adult when he refuses to speak to the police without her.

When Anna McFall's remains are found, Fred suggests to Janet their resemblance is significant.
