Cocaine, Prison & Likes: Isabelle's True Story

In 2016, Isabelle Lagacé agrees to serve as a mule in one of the largest cocaine smuggling operations in Australia. Her nightlife in Montreal's trendy bars, her toxic relationship and her debts lead her to make an extreme decision that will change the course of her life.

Isabelle is on a cruise to Australia to smuggle 30 kilos of cocaine. When one of the members of the plot leaves the ship, the journey takes a different turn. After a few stops in scenic destinations, Isabelle feels like she is being followed. The harsh reality catches up with her as soon as she arrives in Sydney.

Isabelle's arrest makes headlines around the world and the media are having a field day. The shock wave is immense for her entourage. The trial causes a division among the members of the importation plot. Sentenced to seven and a half years in prison, Isabelle learns to live in this difficult environment and begins her rehabilitation process.
