Narelle and Patrick begin in the small fishing town of Chioggia, preparing the yacht for its voyage. Located at the southern end of the Venice Lagoon, they explore the lovely town and introduce some of the colourful people they have come to know.

Upon arrival in Venice, Narelle visits an old friend, Renato, who is the head chef at the hotel Cipriani in Casanova's gardens. He invites Narelle to join him in his kitchen to learn how to cook some of his favourite Venetian dishes.

Patrick and Narelle sail to southern Turkey and visit the picturesque village of Kalekoy, in the Kekova area. They explore the village and its ancient culture, where the inhabitants live in the 2500-year-old dwellings of their ancestors.
