Four Seasons

On Cornwall's coast lies Endellion, the estate of the Combe family, headed by Alex and his sons: financier Stephen and laid-back Charles; life there is upended when Julia, Stephen's ex-wife, returns to solve the mystery of her daughter's suicide.

At Endellion, the barriers between Julia and her estranged granddaughter, Abby begin to fall; an angry Stephen gives an ultimatum to Abby, who faces more heartache.

It is winter, and Stephen and Julia's daughter, Charlotte, return to Endellion; her arrival stirs up old resentment, causing longstanding secrets to be exposed and doubts to arise in existing relationships.

War breaks out between the brothers when they learn that their father has left Endellion to Charles instead of Stephen, the elder son; Stephen's fury and hurt lead him to a nervous breakdown.
