François and his children have been invited to Paul-André and Renaud's home, which Édouard is far from delighted about. Marlène and he tie themselves in knots trying to keep their secret.

Renaud empathises with Francois's grief following his wife's death and his wish to reconnect with old friends. He confides in Jacynthe's mother about his confrontation with Tomas the previous day.

The lives of trio Renaud, Marlène and Paul-André take a new turn. François supports his friends through the difficult period that's shaken them all. Marlène reveals an important secret to Céleste, which in turn brings her closer to Tomas.
