Mike is in Afghanistan examining a Chinook helicopter when it is sent to evacuate wounded soldiers. As it comes under Taliban fire, the pilot is shot in the head.

Mike heads to the frontline in Musa Qala to see the weaponry used, including the MQ-9 Reaper unmanned aerial vehicle and the 105mm Light Gun.

Mike confronts the Taliban's deadliest weapon: improvised explosive devices, testing the Dragon Runner bomb diffusers and Trojan vehicles used to clear them.
