Sonja Ek has a happy life and a loving relationship with her husband and three children. But one day it all changes, and in order to protect her children, Sonja is forced to cross the line into the criminal world.

Barry visits Stein to collect money, and when Stein has none left to give, Barry takes a painting instead. Sonja contacts Broman to hand over the money personally.

Nina goes missing. Has she run away, or has she been kidnapped? Sonja tells Lukas about Stein, which leads Lukas to pay Stein a visit. Broman suspects Sonja knows the identity of the Major.
