Sonja is out of prison and lives a safe life with John, their respective children and Niklas’ and Hannas’ son Nico. Sonja tries to keep up with her children who, because of everything that has happened in recent years in their lives, sometimes make bad decisions. When Sonja discovers who Gustav is dating, she feels she has to interfere to protect his life. Barry is doing business with Rosales but the money ends up in the wrong place. He has also got competition from the Icelandic mafia. For Linus and John's son Kasper, a prank results in terrible consequences.

Sonja and John start to understand that what happened at the marina was not an accident, and Linus and Kasper are beginning to realize what they have done. Juana is having an unwelcome visitor in the store and Barry and Sonja have to cooperate to help her. Klara wants to get Lukas out of prison so that he can protect the family.

Gustav finds out what happened to Juana in the worst possible way and calls Sonja since he doesn’t know what to do. Rosales shows Barry very clearly how unhappy he is with Barry failing once again. Klara begins to understand who lies behind everything that happened at the marina and takes care of it in her own way. Barry understands that there must be a leak among his men and puts Zac to the test.

John's car is found and he is being interrogated by the police. Nina asks Zac who he really is. Simon entrusts his secret to Kattis, but does not get the reaction he hoped for. John and Sonja receive an unwelcome offer from Elise Wang. Fickan is tricked by Emil, but it has completely different consequences than he hoped for.

Sonja learns that she has been trapped into business with Rosales. Klara uses extreme methods to find out who really is behind the sabotage at the marina. Simon realizes he has lost everything. Barry, Rosales and Sonja meet up but are far from being alone on the spot.

Lukas takes Sonja to a safe place. Zac is no longer welcome anywhere and in order to solve both his and Sonja's problems, he comes up with an idea. Speedy and Gustav unite in their sorrow over Juana. John, Klara and the children have a meeting with the social services after an anonymous report about Linus, but Sonja has more important things to do.
