Grimoire of Zero

A half-man, half-beast mercenary makes a deal with a witch, to protect her in exchange for granting his wish -- to become fully human.

Albus joins Mercenary and Zero; with the new member in tow, the group heads out to a new village, but not all goes as planned as the villagers become hostile to Albus.

Zero must find new clothes; Mercenary encounters a wolfman who offers to make a trade for Zero.

The group begins to grow closer as Zero teaches Albus some sorcery to catch fish and the three share their stories with one another.

The group investigates the mass slaughter of Latette's inhabitants and meet the man responsible: a sorcerer working for the king going by the name Thirteen.

Thirteen and Zero discuss the stolen grimoire and Thirteen tries to turn Zero's allies against her.
