Guardians of the Power Masks

Annie, an American who loves to sing, dance and shop with her friends, is forced to spend the summer in China with her cousin Yong and grandmother Nainai, who turns out to be an aging warrior guarding a portal to try to keep evil at bay.

As Annie begins intense training to become the guardian of the power masks, her cousin Yong feels left out because the male mask was left in the Twilight realm.

Evil forces invade Singing Rocks just as Annie's parents arrive for a visit while on an archeological expedition in Korea.

Yong ridicules Annie's American culture because she hangs pop star posters on her walls, but the tables are turned when his favorite action hero Zhang Yu Yi gets stranded in Singing Rocks and Yong begs her to help him get an autograph.

After Annie receives a letter from friends back in Los Angeles, she tries to write a goblin-free reply.

Deathly afraid of water, Yong must face his greatest fear when Dark unleashes a foam-making water nymph into the human world.
