Move over mom and dad, the barbecue now belongs to a new generation of creative and innovative grillers! Eight kids under the age of 13 compete for $20,000 and the title of Kids BBQ Champion.
EPISODE 1
Meat the Chefs
The competition kicks off with each cooking his or her famous flavors atop chicken and a signature side; chef Tim Love is on board to judge the final plates.
EPISODE 2
Backyard BBQ
The first round features a hot dog challenge; one chef gains a major advantage in the stuffed burger elimination round.
EPISODE 3
Luau Feast
The barbecue arena is transformed into a Polynesian paradise; the chefs are challenged to make the perfect luau pork dish with a tropical fruit side; barbecue pro Danielle Bennett judges the results.
EPISODE 4
State Fair
The final five chefs grill their blue ribbon-worthy foods in two barbecue rounds; in the first challenge the chefs make on-the-go fair food; pitmaster Adrian Davila, awards the blue ribbon to the best dessert.
EPISODE 5
Cowboy Campfire
The chefs are challenged with creating meals worthy of a starving cowboy; special judge and grilling cowboy, chef Kent Rollins, helps judge the results.
EPISODE 6
The Big Smoke
A real-deal pit master event goes into full swing as the final three junior chefs enter the BBQ area, but only one will emerge as the first Kids BBQ Champion.
