Money Game

In the parliament, a national audit is held about Jungin bank. Its loss will be considerable. Chae Yi-hun, Chief of Financial Services Commission's Economic Policy Bureau, heads to the debate to mitigate the situation. However, under pressure, Yi-hun says that Jungin Bank's stocks should be sold. This leads to the Chairman of the Financial Services Commission's firing. Heo-jae takes his place.

Yi-hun is contacted by the police and learns that his father, Chae Byeong-hak, has died from a fall. After returning to work, Yi-hun makes a sales plan for Jungin Bank and submits it to Chairman Heo Jae. A press conference regarding the sale is planned without any notice from the Chairman. He reveals that the published data are altered.

Lee Hye-joon, the new secretary, finds a file about the BIS ratio of Jungin Bank on Director Na Joon-pyo's computer and prints it out. Chairman Ho-jae hands over Yi-hun's sales plan of Jungin Bank to the chief of the audit department for investigation. Because of the report, Yi-hun is suspected to have received a bribe from Jaeyoung Bank.

The BIS Report of Jungin Bank was tampered with and the government must settle the situation. The stocks cannot be sold overseas. Chairman Heo Jae appeals to the President to limit its sale to the domestic market. Director Na notices Hye-joon has a file on the BIS Report. He tells this to Chairman Heo Jae, speculating Hye-joon sold it to the media for money.

Yi-hun reports that he leaked the BIS Report at the disciplinary committee's hearing. He is arrested on his way to the police station. Hye-joon visits Seo Wang-yeo, President of the Jungin Bank. She urges him to tell her the basis of the BIS Report, but he dares not speak. President Seo realizes that he has been used at a meeting with The Bahamas. Hence, he tries to tell Hye-joon the truth.

Hye-joon discovers President Seo has collapsed. On the way to the hospital, the secretary hears his last words. Yi-hun and Han Sang-min learn that the President got in an argument with an unknown person before dying. They pursue the man's identity. The disciplinary committee plans actions against Yi-hun for the document's leak. Knowing that, Hye-joon struggles to collect signatures.
