In this episode of “Nunavummi Mamarijavut,” Oo Kierstead travels to Igloolik to meet up with Kelly Ungalaaq and a local hunter. Kelly demonstrates how she cooks an Inuit delicacy with walrus meat and fat.

Seal and Seaweed

In this episode of “Nunavummi Mamarijavut,” Oo Kierstead flies to her hometown of Kimmirut to meet Jeannie Pudluq and boat to Jeannie’s camp. Along the way, they collect kelp from the tidal flats and Jeannie makes a traditional meal out of seal meat and kelp.
