Tracey begins her journey across B.C. in Vernon, where she takes a leisure cruise on Lake Okanagan and revisits her childhood memories. Join in as Tracey learns a new method for cooking deer steaks with local foodie Eric Miller!

In Salmon Arm, Tracey meets knowledge keeper Eric Mitchell and learns about the legend of Salmon and Coyote. Tracey is shown some traditional fishing techniques. Later, she meets a local artist as he prepares his latest piece that honours the c’aptikwl.

Tracey meets the Leon family in Enderby, B.C., who shows her how they are preserving the Splatsin language. Tracey and Elder Rosalind Williams take to the land in search of Indigenous wild potatoes for their feast.

Tracey travels to Chase, B.C. for some rest and relaxation. She meets Tanner who shows her how to make buckskin drums and shares a song. Alongside Elder Ralph McBride, Tracey forages for delicious herbs and vegetables then prepares a gourmet meal.

Tracey travels to Lake Neskonlith and meets with Elder and Knowledge Keeper Minnie Kenoras. She learns to weave baskets with a master, and learns an innovative method for pit cooking wild salmon, which she prepares with members of the Neskonlith community

In Chase, B.C., Tracey meets up with old friends at Sampson Ranch, where three generations of bull riders show Tracey the skills that made them champions. She shares her recipe for huckleberry burgers with the ranchers. Later, she travels to Spotted Lake.
