While fueling up at a lakeside hotel breakfast buffet, Jesse Palmer challenges the bakers to make sweet and savory breakfast treats; Jesse has been picking berries by the lake, and it's the bakers' job to turn them into summer pies.

Jesse Palmer uses Disney and Pixar's Inside Out 2 as inspiration for the bakers to design core summer travel memory desserts. Then, the bakers make emotion cakes so that judges can experience ALL the feelings before choosing whose cake doesn't bring joy.

Jesse Palmer uses his ideal road snack, a chocolate bar, to challenge the bakers with creating road trip portable desserts; the bakers go glamping as they cook up glam summer cobbler desserts before the judges decide who takes a hike.
