The Christine Jessop Story

On October 3rd, 1984, nine-year-old Christine Jessop disappears. A massive search draws hundreds of locals who scour the town and surrounding farmland. The media and police swarm the area. Bob Jessop (Chirstine’s father) is granted early release to help search but as the weeks roll on there is no sign of Christine. Bob gives up but Janet holds on to the hope her daughter will be found. On December 31st, 1984, Christine’s decomposed body is discovered over 40 kilometers away, she has been sexually assaulted and stabbed to death. The search for a missing child becomes the search for a killer.

Sergeant Steve Smith is assigned to the cold case squad and takes up Christine's case. He has found Christine's killer. After 35 years, Janet and Ken Jessop get closure.
