After a freak accident harms someone close to George, he is left distraught. He can't stop himself from asking the question - if he is working with an organization that can turn back time, why can't they undo what has happened and help the person he loves? He turns to his colleague and close friend Archie, who reveals to him the dangers of resetting time and how it almost destroyed her life. Meanwhile, George finds himself being drawn to the enigmatic ex-Lazarus agent Rebrov - could he really be the evil person that everyone makes him out to be?

Following a personal loss, George decides to stop mourning and take action instead. And if his colleagues at the Lazarus Project won’t help him, George will need to find support elsewhere - even if that means appealing to Lazarus’ sworn enemies. Through his new allies, George learns about a different, darker side to Lazarus – including the tragic story of what drove their arch-enemy Rebrov to betray the organisation and vow to take them down.
