Princess Li Song Er (Bao Shang En) lives in the peaceful Kingdom of Zuimeng, where she tries to start her own incense shop with little success. One day, an old man gives her a book, and Song Er asks her maid to read it to her later that night. To her shock, the name of her shop appears in the story – but she's horrified to hear that it's used as the name of a brothel. Suddenly, a group of assassins bursts into the courtyard, and Song Er finds herself pulled into the story! Gu Yuan (Johnny Zhang), the story's dark lord, mistakes Song Er for another woman, and captures her, hoping that she'll lead him to his enemy. This paves the way for a tumultuous relationship between the two, spanning fiction and reality. This drama was adapted from the novel "Xiao Jun Zhu, Meng Ru Hu" by Jun Su.
