Fan flees to Ermentahl but the Tytania continue to hunt him. After his capture, a Tytania noble makes Fan an offer.

Lira tries to persuade Fan to join her resistance force, but is disrupted by Tytania forces who were informed of Fan's location by Lira's grandmother.
