Levison Wood is in Botswana hoping to follow the world's largest elephant migration for 650 miles on foot along ancient pathways, but he first must overcome dangers in the bush before tracking a large herd of female elephants.

Lev and his guide, Kane, journey across the saltpans to track bull elephants, but their safety is soon jeopardized when they encounter a herd during mating season.

Approaching the end of their 650-mile journey, Lev and Kane finish the final leg of the trip by boat and face dangerous crocodiles and aggressive hippos.
