Olympian Waneek Horn-Miller’s meets this season’s participants. They are dealing with obesity, eating disorders, low self-esteem, emotional trauma, busy schedules, depression, poor nutrition, substance abuse and lack of motivation.

Waneek takes the group out for a health assessment with Dr. Horn. We meet Kary-Ann and Kahnhehsentha and learn their reasons for taking the "Working it Out Together" challenge.

Waneek teaches the group the importance of teamwork in a race through the city. The experts and participants examine their journey and set goals for the future.
